In November 2013, the first ever Canada Education Fair led by the Embassy of Canada to the Russian Federation will take place in Russia's Far East. Targeting a segment of the growing Russian market with exceptional potential for Canadian educational institutions recruiting international students, the fair will take place in two important Russian cities: Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.

Participation will include:

- Tailored school and university visits
- Participation in presentation seminars for targeted media and professionals
- Participation in the Canada Education Fair with individual participant booth and support for interpretation
- Networking Reception
- Coordinator of follow-up meetings on site
- Embassy of Canada briefing
- On ground logistics (hotel accommodations in both cities as well as on ground transport).

Russia has a growing education market and one that is presenting ever increasing opportunities for Canadian institutions. This is a market with a long history of emphasizing the importance of education, yet increasingly more and more students are looking abroad for internationally recognized credentials at all education levels; improving their own marketability in the Russian and international job markets.

Canadian institutions travelling to Korea for its Edu-Canada fairs taking place from November 3-4 and to Japan from November 8-11 may be interested in including a stop to Russia's Far East to discover the many opportunities that the region offers.
