NACAC is an organization of more than 13,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. More than 5,500 college admission counselling professionals attend the national conference and the conference hosts approximately 200 exhibits each year. Visit www.nacacnet.org for more information.

This year, Edu-Canada will coordinate the following activities:

1) Workshop: How to Recruit in the U.S. Midwest
September 17, 2014: 2:00pm-4:00 pm, Eiteljorg Museum Boardroom

This workshop is an ideal opportunity for Canadian institutions to better understand how to tailor marketing strategies and stand out in the competitive and segmented U.S. market. The session will present an overview of U.S. public policy and national trends related to higher education. In addition, market research conducted on the Midwest will be presented at this session by DFATD's Education Trade Commissioner in Washington, D.C. Participants will leave with a better understanding of what resonates with U.S. students, and best practices for recruitment in the United States.
