The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada is pleased to invite provincial governments and eligible Canadian institutions to participate in the next edition of the Latin America Education Tour 2014. This tour is designed to allow Canadian representatives to reach out to potential students and parents, as well as educational agents and institutional representatives, throughout the region.

The Latin America region is an increasingly important market for Canadian institutions, and interest in studying in Canada is growing rapidly among students from Latin America. Activities on the tour have been designed to assist Canadian institutions in their promotion efforts by:
-Building awareness about education in Canada;
-Attracting a high calibre of students to the events through targeted promotion; and
-Facilitating linkages with educational institutions and reputable agents in the countries visited.

Why you should participate:

The event will highlight Canada as a viable and preferred study destination and will allow Canadian institutions to present their study programs. The event will also provide an opportunity for participants to obtain information on the Canadian education experience, as well as on scholarships and immigration.

Trade Commissioner(s) involvement:
