The week-long program will include a series of activities including student recruitment fairs, agent meetings, information seminars, market and visa briefing, as well as partnership forums and roundtable meetings. Networking events hosted by the Ambassador and Consul General will also be organized in Hanoi, Can Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City. Highlights of the week are the three education fairs taking place in Hanoi (October 13), Can Tho (October 16), and Ho Chi Minh City (October 19). In addition, the partnership forums/discussions which will take place in three cities will allow interested Canadian institutions to explore opportunities to provide joint programs with Vietnamese partners.

67 institutions from 9 provinces from across Canada participated in our 4th Annual Canada Education Week (CEW) in 2012. Canadian institutions had direct access to over 2,600 visitors at three education fairs in three cities (Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Danang), participated in one-on-one meetings with 100 agents at the two agent workshops, and networked with key Vietnamese education contacts.

Canada Education Week is proving to be an important tool in branding Canada as the destination of choice for Vietnamese students looking to study abroad. It has also become one of the largest education fairs organized by the Government of Canada.

Results from our client survey form indicated that the majority of education clients found Canada Education Week either "excellent" or "very good" and that they would return for future Canada Education Weeks.
