The ICEF Berlin Workshop is the most important annual event for education travel and student recruitment professionals worldwide. It is recognised as the best and most comprehensive forum for international educators, premium agents and leading industry service providers.

Educators hold pre-scheduled business meetings over two days with rigorously screened student recruitment agents. These meetings serve the dual purpose of selecting and appointing new representatives as well as catching up with existing partners. The International Conference is WACE’s medium-size event, attracting approximately 150-250 delegates (academic, corporate, student, and government) from 15-25 countries. The International Conference is held during the years that the World Conference is not offered and has replaced what was referred to as the “Regional Conference”, which strove to target a particular region, whereas the International Conference does not. Similar to the World Conference, the International Conference also offers Plenary & Concurrent Sessions, although it may or may not offer the refereed paper option. While the World Conference is broad in theme, the International Conference is more targeted in theme, often offering themes for concurrent sessions to follow.

The New York Times Company is launching the first College Life Fair to provide students, parents and exhibitors with an improved college fair experience. This event aims to bring together all of the components needed to develop an understanding of college admissions, college life and the resources available for success.

The New York Times is collaborating on the fair with the Illinois Association for College Admission Counselling and Chicago Public Schools. Attendance will be well into the thousands, with participation from Chicago Public Schools and other area schools. The Chicago Public Schools have agreed to transport thousands of sophomores and juniors to this event by bus, and others will be attending from the across the region. Admission is free to students and parents.

The Canadian Consulate General in Chicago will coordinate an Imagine: Education au/in Canada Pavilion to discuss the opportunities for study in Canada. Brand eligible institutions will be located in their own booths next to the Consulate.

The second edition of the Conference of the Americas on International Education (CAIE) will be held on 26-28 April, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The STUDY ABROAD - Central European Education Fair has been referred to as one of the largest and most successful international student fairs in the Central Europea focused on students interested to study abroad .
